My VEGETARIAN MANIFESTO:  EATING MEAT STINKS! We do NOT need meat to Survive!

Why Should I Be A Vegetarian Anyway?
"THE GREATNESS OF A NATION AND IT'S MORAL PROGRESS CAN BE JUDGED BY THE WAY IT'S ANIMALS ARE TREATED."
-MAHATMA GANDHI

I've never been quite able to understand how a country so obsessed with God and spreading the teachings of Jesus Christ can be so selfish, deceiving, and hypocritical. I think it could be because everything Christianity teaches is all three - selfish, deceiving, and hypocritical. 500,000 animals are killed each hour in the United States, and it's time we take a look at why. I group all humans into one of two categories: those who respect life, and those who eat meat. And while it's true I do support tolerance (to an extent), and I try to regulate my hate towards people, I have absolutely no respect whatsoever for people who eat meat. Human carnivores fall into one of two categories: the ignorant who don't know any better and usually have an age or mind span of 10 years old, and the selfish, who care about nothing but themselves, which would be every other person who eats meat. There is absolutely no valid reason at all for any human to consume another animal. You people are so  self consumed, that you have virtually little or no respect for life. Every time I ask a meat eater why they choose to do so, knowing that you can survive, plus be totally healthy without any consumption of meat, I always get basically the same answer; "I like the taste of meat" or "I'm too weak to give up eating meat all together". No wonder we still live in a society that supports the death penalty...with movies that glorify butchering and murdering other humans, companies that inject chemicals and drugs into animals just to see what it will do, and where wearing corpses and furs is considered fashion, it's obvious that you hypocritical Jesus freaks don't practice what you preach. If watching a movie like Rambo or Friday the 13th desensitizes people, imagine what consuming the corpses of small rotting animals 3 times a day does to people. If you can take about 10 minutes out of your selfish self-consumed life to just listen to what I have to say, you'll see that being a vegetarian would not only save the lives of billions of innocent animals, but it's also better for the environment and the planet, it could put an end to world hunger and starvation, and it would make you a healthier and happier person. *********************************************************

The meat and dairy industry makes it's money from lying and deceiving the public with marketing gimmicks, usually showing sluty looking girls or idiot celebrity endorsements telling you how good meat tastes, and how you need it to be healthy, and even to survive. And just as the meat industry would have you to believe you need meat, the egg and dairy producers want you to believe you need milk, eggs, and other dairy products to stay healthy. None of that is true. McDonald's brags of "60 Billion Served!" Why don't they brag about the 50 million butchered? Ronald McDonald tells children hamburgers grow in hamburger patches and love to be eaten. He neglects to tell children the truth, that hamburgers are ground up cows who've had their throats slit by machetes or their brains bashed in with sledgehammers. It's an interesting fact that Jeff Juliano, the original actor who played Ronald McDonald, later became a vegetarian. The whole thing is a based around a marketing thing to make money off of murder and destroying your health. The Dairy Council tells children that you need milk to grow up big and strong, while in fact 20% of white kids and 80% of black kids are lactase intolerant, meaning they have no lactase in their intestines and can't digest milk. The meat, dairy, and egg industries tell us animal products (meat and dairy) make up half of the basic 4 food groups that you need to stay healthy, when in fact there were originally 12official basic food groups before the industries applied enormous political pressure on behalf of their products. Some of the diseases associated with meat, dairy, and eggs include heart disease, breast cancer, hypoglycemia, strokes (stroke, ha-ha!) and diabetes just to name a few. The milk producers original ad slogan was "Everyone needs milk", but later the Federal Trade Commission called their slogan, quote, "False, misleading, and deceptive". The dairy industry tells us that milk is 3.5% fat, when in fact that 3.5% figure is based on weight and most of the weight in milk is water. They also don't tell us that the amount of calories as fat in whole milk is 50%. Much like religion and the government, the meat and dairy industry keep people in line through lies and fear of what might happen if they don't eat meat. **************************************************************

Next, let's look at some facts the meat industry doesn't want you to know about. First off, the human population in the U.S.A. is 243,000,000 (243 million). If everyone was to stop eating meat, we could easily feed everybody with the food they feed to the livestock for people to eat, ending hunger and starvation completely. 1,300,000,000 (that's one billion, 300 million) people could be fed by the grain and soybeans eaten by the U.S. livestock. On one acre of land, you can grow 20,000 pounds of potatoes. You can only produce 165 pounds of beef on one acre of land. 56% of U.S. agricultural land is used to produce beef. In fact, the government even pays farmers not to grow vegetables on their land! Only 20% of all corn grown in the U.S. is eaten by humans, while the other 80% is fed to livestock. 95% of all oats grown in the U.S. are eaten by livestock. It takes 16 pounds of grain and soybeans to produce only one pound of beef. It takes 7.5 pounds of protein to produce one pound of pork, and it takes 5 pounds of protein to produce one pound of edible chicken flesh. Now that you know those facts, let's take a look at how this effects us: if Americans reduced their intake of meat by only 10%, you could adequately feed 60,000,000 people with the grain saved. If that doesn't seem like a lot, think for a minute that around 60,000,000 people will starve to death this year alone. Every 2 seconds a child dies of starvation. That's 40,000 children dieing of starvation every single day. Most of this could be avoided if everyone would simply eat less meat, rather than even cut it out completely. ******************************************************************* "BUT FOR THE SAKE OF SOME LITTLE MOUTHFUL OF FLESH, WE DEPRIVE A SOUL OF THE SUN AND LIGHT, AND OF THE PROPORTION OF LIFE AND TIME THEY HAD BEEN BORN TO ENJOY."

******************************************************************* "FORGET THE PIG IS AN ANIMAL. TREAT HIM LIKE A MACHINE IN A FACTORY." -HOG FARM MANAGEMENT, MAGAZINE ******************************************************************* Finally, think for a minute about what you're eating. You can find comfort in the fact that the corpse you eat has a fancy name like "hamburger" or "veal parmesan", but are you so blinded by your own stupidity that you can't see that what you're eating was once a living breathing object, with a heart, a brain, a mother and father, and all of the exact same senses that you have? Or think of the possibility of a little farm girl or boy that at one time called your dinner a pet or a friend? Didn't you ever see the movie Charlotte's Web, where the little girl has a pet pig and her fucked up father tries to eat it, but he doesn't because the pig can spell "terrific" and "salutations" in a spider web? Well, in real life pigs can't spell and they must be murdered for you greedy filth to consume the flesh of the innocent. All of the animals you eat are brutally murdered and go through much pain. In fact, it would cost only one penny to render the animal unconscious before slaughter with a captive bolt pistol, so at least the animal wouldn't feel the pain and suffer, but the meat industry claims that it's too expensive. Instead, they are fully conscious when they slit their throats and bash in their skulls, which is exactly how they kill them. To produce those eggs you eat, the male animals are killed shortly after birth, and the female animals are slaughtered after their production rate drops. Besides that, eating an egg is like eating a chicken abortion. Some eggs may have two yolks, meaning they would have been twins, and some eggs may even contain small traces of blood. In order to have laying hens, you have to have fertile eggs, and half of the eggs will hatch into male chicks, which are killed right away and probably used for fertilizer, or raised to be table chickens, and will be slaughtered as soon as they reach an economic weight. As for milk, dairy cows are impregnated every year to make sure they produce adequate milk. The calf's would normally suckle on their mother for a year, but nature is denied by the money hungry dairy industry. The baby's are taken away from their mothers in a few days or even their first day of life, and are then either made into veal or pet food, sold to be raised for beef, or some are killed to extract rennet from their stomachs for cheese making. This is why many vegetarians don't eat eggs or milk, or dairy products like cheese - these people are called vegans. In fact, in a trade magazine called "Meat and Poultry" they talk about deliberate cruelty and workers who "enjoy killing and ...torment animals on purpose," taking "sadistic pleasure in shooting the eyes out of cattle", striking them in the head, and electrically shocking animals in sensitive parts of their bodies. A magazine called "Hog Farm Management" told farmers to "Forget the pig is an animal. Treat him just like a machine in a factory." But in my opinion the worst of all in the greedy meat industry is McDonalds fast food restaurants, who make $24 Billion a year and spend over one billion dollars a year on advertisements featuring their friendly mascots and happy meals with prizes and toys aimed at young children, trying to give themselves an image of being a caring place that donates money to children and the Olympics, is earth friendly, and is a fun family place to eat. McDonalds is actually destroying the earth, ruining your health, murdering millions of animals, and getting rich on it all. McDonalds promotes their food as healthy, when in fact it's actually high in fat, sugar and salt, and low in fiber and vitamins. Many of the chemical additives in their food (artificial flavors and colors) are bad for your health and cause hyperactivity in children. Every year McDonalds uses thousands of tons of unnecessary packaging, much of which will end up in our streets as liter. They also destroy forests at a high rate and raise cattle to destroy on it. On top of that, McDonalds threatens legal action against anyone who speaks out against them (so sue me, mother fuckers!). McDonalds sued two people, Helen Steel and Dave Morris, two supporters of Greenpeace who were simply distributing literature telling the facts about how screwed up McDonalds is. The two couldn't afford legal aid, so they had to represent themselves against McDonalds high paid lawyers. They even denied the two a jury, as McDonalds argued the issues in the case would be "too complex" for members of the general public to understand (note however, this was in England, where that can't happen here.) Is any of this making sense to you yet? The meat industry is just another perfect example of how easily people can be deceived, convinced, and tricked into believing anything they want you to believe. Whether religion, government, or marketing gimmick, it's all actually the same when you get down to it: society feels more comfortable by letting other people think and decide for them. So much, to a point, that you don't even know when to and when not to think for yourself. Not that you should listen to me anymore than you should anybody else telling you what to do, but just think for a moment...you have the choice to eat meat or not - the innocent animals who are slaughtered and live and die in complete and total agony have no choice. And don't tell me you need meat to survive, because I haven't eaten meat for 3 years, and I know some people who haven't eaten it their whole lives, and I'm perfectly healthy (I think). And don't give me that lame excuse, "uhhh, it says Jesus ate fish and it says it's OK in the Bible". That's an outdated excuse for people who preach the end of the world daily and are too selfish and comfortable to think for themselves. You can get the exact same protein and vitamins in vegetables, potatoes, fruits, nuts (he-he, nuts!) and in my sperm as you can from meat. By the way, did you know that semen has protein in it...But never mind that, it's like I was saying, if you want to talk about the Bible, somewhere in there it says, "He who lives by the sword, dies by the sword." So in conclusion, what I'm saying to you flesh eating, carnivore scum is if you have absolutely no respect whatsoever for other's lives, than why should I have any respect for yours?
