Aug 24th , Aly & AJ with us . They were so NICE , their Mom , Carey was so easy to talk to. We hope to work closely with them on the AMBERWATCH foundation project to educate & help protect kids from Abduction . www.amberwatchfoundation.org
We met Aly & AJ at the Tower Theatre after the show.. We hung out with them & Mom Carey for about 30 minutes discussing everything from Music, Children Dressing as KIDS not Dancers , Child Protection to Religion. Great Conversation & A Great Time .The family is real, what you see is what you get .

Evelyn King, Peaches & Herb,Harold Melvins Blue Notes **BIG DADDY the Lead sounds just like Teddy did! and The Trammps..Dinner was at Jimmy M's place in Wildwood. Mayor Troiano was the host and went on until 2am .Brianna & Jessie were with us also ,we had a great time. How these guys still do it I dont know !

" It's funny, I always thought Life Is a Rock could be figured as the first rap song. Fortunately it was deemed to have melody enough for copyright protection when we sued McDonalds for infringement and got a settlement.The important thing I would be pleased if you would correct on your very interesting web site is that Joey Levine DID NOT WRITE life is a rock, he Sang it.I wrote the words and Paul di Franco wrote the lyrics.The original lyric which ran to several verses was meant to be an encyclopedic compression of all the world's knowledge into 3 minutes.Ultimately all was removed but the music related stuff.One of my favorite out takes was:"Eclipse! He claps, Umbra numba - Shadow knows but Orson Rosebud".(It all fits together by a sort of perverse logic.)Anyway thanks for the kudos that the first rap record was written by a 66 year old electrical engineer from Yale.(My only other claim to fame was having bankrolled and executive produced - The Velvet Underground and Nico - the banana album 35 years ago...)Looks like your life has been a lotta fun too.May it continue - long and healthy.Norman Dolph "THANK YOU ,THANK YOU ,THANK YOU !! Don't run from the police or resist, even if you believe you are innocent.
As bad cops are control freaks and will use even an accidental bumping up against you as an excuse to charge you with assault on a police officer and resisting arrest, as well as justification for the use of force. Be careful and keep your hands in view at all times, telling the cop you are going to reach into your pockets for your license, as you might risk getting shot. Avoid any sudden moves with your hands for the same reason and remain calm, as being agitated will cause some cops to arrest you for interfering or worse.
